The Story:

Early in 2018 the owners of Hook & Irons took a pilgrimage to Japan to find the correlations between the ancient Samurai and the American Firefighter. We assimilated into their lifestyle, lived the code of Bushido and painted these new designs in the blood of our enemies (weak Fire Chiefs and EMS Captains who push online training over real training). In the end, we found enlightenment and know that we are the last of a dying breed.

The Truth:

We spent the year of Covid watching way too many Japanese Kung Fu flicks and binge watching the Kill Bill series (Uma is both deadly and sexy). Then we went down a worm hole looking at old Japanese movie posters and wanted to make Japanese inspired designs that were half as cool as the posters we saw. We hope you dig the art as much as we do.
